This policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Commercial Use & Motif Licence
Policy, Privacy Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy, and any product-specific licence terms shown at
checkout or download.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
1. What this policy covers
This policy applies to digital products supplied by Patternata, including:motif packs; digital motif
collections; downloadable artwork; templates; design elements; pattern files; digital backgrounds;
texture files; digital brushes; downloadable pattern resources; digital design tools or resources; any
other downloadable or digitally supplied product.
Digital products may be supplied by download, account access, email link, in-app access, cloud
access or another digital delivery method.
2. Digital products are licensed, not sold outright
When you purchase, download or access a Patternata digital product, you receive a licence to use
that product under the applicable terms.
You do not purchase ownership of the underlying intellectual property.
All Patternata digital products, motif libraries, artwork collections, templates, design elements, files,
previews and related assets remain owned by Creative Boutique Limited, Patternata, its licensors or
its suppliers.
Your licence allows you to use the digital product only as permitted by this policy and our Commercial
Use & Motif Licence Policy.
3. Permitted use
Unless stated otherwise, you may use Patternata digital products to create finished designs for
personal or commercial use.
Permitted uses may include creating finished designs for: fabrics; scarves; clothing; accessories;
stationery; packaging; homeware; print-on-demand products; client presentations; lookbooks; product
mockups; marketing visuals; other finished end-use products.
The finished design must be a completed composition, pattern, layout or artwork created by you using
the digital product as part of a broader design.
4. Prohibited use
You must not: resell Patternata digital products as standalone files; redistribute, share, gift, transfer or
sublicense Patternata digital products; upload Patternata files to stock asset platforms; upload
Patternata files to template platforms; include Patternata assets in clip art packs, SVG bundles, PNG
bundles, digital papers, downloadable collections or asset libraries; extract individual motifs from
Patternata files for resale or redistribution; make Patternata files available for download by customers,
clients, collaborators or third parties; use Patternata digital products to create a competing design
tool, motif library, pattern generator, stock graphics library or digital asset marketplace; use Patternata
assets for AI training, machine learning datasets or automated design systems without written
permission; claim Patternata digital assets as your own standalone original artwork.
These restrictions apply whether the digital product was purchased, downloaded for free, accessed
through a subscription, received as part of a promotion, or supplied through any other Patternata
service.
5. Digital delivery
Digital products may be delivered by: direct download; email link; user account access; app access;
cloud-based access; third-party delivery platform; any other delivery method made available by
Patternata.
Delivery is considered complete when the file, access link, account access or digital product has been
made available to you.
You are responsible for ensuring that the email address, account details and device information you
provide are accurate.
6. Access links and download availability
Where a digital product is supplied by download link, the link may be available for a limited time or
limited number of downloads.
We recommend downloading and securely storing your purchased files promptly after purchase.
Patternata does not guarantee indefinite access to download links, especially where: accounts are
inactive; products are discontinued; platforms change; files are updated or replaced; legal or technical
restrictions apply; the service or product is withdrawn.
Where possible, we may provide reasonable support for genuine access issues, but customers are
responsible for keeping their own copies of downloaded files.
7. File formats
Digital products may be supplied in formats such as: PNG; JPEG; SVG; PDF; pattern files;
ï‚· other digital formats shown on the product page.
Available formats may vary by product.
The product page or checkout should be checked carefully before purchase to confirm what is

purpose, including: resolution; scale; repeat type;colour mode;file size; transparency; compatibility
with printing method; compatibility with third-party platforms; suitability for commercial production.
Where exact specifications are important, please review the product description before purchase or
contact us for clarification.
10. Instant access and cancellation
Digital products are usually supplied immediately after purchase.
Once a digital product has been accessed, downloaded or otherwise made available, cancellation and
refund rights may be limited, unless the product is faulty, inaccessible due to an issue on our side,
misdescribed, or a refund is required by law.
By purchasing a digital product with immediate access, you acknowledge that access may begin
immediately after purchase.
11. Refunds for digital products
Due to the nature of digital products, refunds are not normally provided once the product has been
accessed, downloaded or supplied.
Refunds may be considered where: the file is faulty; the wrong file was supplied; the file cannot be
accessed because of an issue on our side; the product was materially misdescribed; a duplicate
purchase or billing error occurred; your statutory rights require a remedy.
Refunds are not normally available because of: change of mind; accidental purchase; lack of software
compatibility; failure to read the product description; inability to use the file due to lack of technical
knowledge; preference for a different format not included in the product; dissatisfaction caused by
normal colour variation between screen and print; customer error when downloading, importing or
editing the file.
12. Faulty or inaccessible files
If you believe a digital product is faulty or inaccessible, please contact us at:
Email: info@patternata.com
Please include: order number; account email address; product name; description of the issue;
screenshots where helpful; device and software details; any error messages received.
We may provide: technical guidance; a replacement download link; a corrected file; an alternative
format, where available; a refund, where appropriate.
13. Updates and changes to digital products
Patternata may update, improve, replace or discontinue digital products from time to time.
We are not required to provide free updates unless expressly stated on the product page or required
by law.
Where a digital product is updated, previous purchasers may or may not receive access to the
updated version, depending on the product terms, platform settings or subscription status.
14. Free digital products
Free digital products are still protected by copyright and licence restrictions.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, free Patternata digital products may be used only in accordance
with this policy and our Commercial Use & Motif Licence Policy.
You may not resell, redistribute, share, repackage or upload free digital products as standalone
assets.
15. Subscription-based digital products
Some digital products or motif libraries may be available only through a paid subscription.
Access to subscription-based digital products may end when your subscription ends.
You may continue using finished designs that were lawfully created and exported during an active
subscription, unless specific product terms state otherwise.
You may not continue accessing, extracting, downloading or redistributing subscriber-only assets after
your subscription ends.
16. Client and business use
You may use Patternata digital products to create finished designs for client or business projects,
subject to this policy.
You may provide clients with finished, flattened or production-ready designs.
You must not provide clients with: Patternata digital products as separate files; individual motifs
extracted from Patternata products; editable files that expose Patternata assets as standalone
reusable elements; your Patternata account access; licence rights beyond those permitted by
Patternata.
If your client needs direct access to Patternata assets, they must obtain their own account, purchase
or licence.
17. Backups
You are responsible for keeping your own backups of downloaded digital products.
Patternata is not responsible for loss of files after download due to: device failure; accidental deletion;
account closure; expired download links; discontinued products; failure to save files securely; third-
party platform changes.
We may assist with replacement access where reasonably possible, but this is not guaranteed.
18. Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in Patternata digital products remain owned by Patternata, Creative
Boutique Limited, its licensors or suppliers.
You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, resell, sublicense, publish or exploit Patternata
digital products except as expressly permitted under the applicable licence.
Modification of a Patternata digital product does not transfer ownership of the original asset or remove
the licence restrictions.
19. Breach of this policy
If you breach this policy, Patternata may: suspend or terminate your account; revoke access to digital
products; cancel subscriptions; refuse future purchases; request removal of unauthorised listings or
downloads; contact third-party platforms where misuse has occurred; seek legal remedies where
appropriate.
