These Subscription Terms explain how Patternata subscriptions, paid access, renewals,
cancellations, lifetime access and subscription features work.

These Subscription Terms should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy,
Returns & Refunds Policy, Digital Product Policy, and Commercial Use & Motif Licence Policy.
By purchasing or using a Patternata subscription, you agree to these Subscription Terms.

1. About Patternata subscriptions
Patternata may offer paid subscription plans that provide access to additional tools, features, motif
libraries, exports, design storage, digital assets, member benefits or other services.

Available subscription plans may include: monthly subscriptions; annual subscriptions; lifetime access
offers; free trials; promotional plans; business or team plans, if offered; limited-time launch offers.
The features, prices and billing terms for each plan will be shown at the point of purchase.
 

2. Free access and paid access
Patternata may offer free access to certain tools or features.
Free access may include limited functionality, such as: access to selected tools; access to selected
free motifs; limited saved designs; limited previews; watermarked exports; restricted resolution;
restricted commercial-ready files; limited design storage; limited access to premium features.
Paid subscriptions may unlock additional features, which may include: watermark-free exports; high-
resolution exports; access to premium motif libraries; additional design storage; advanced design
tools; subscriber-only collections; commercial-ready files; priority access to new features; special
member offers or discounts.

The exact features included in each plan may vary and will be displayed on the relevant subscription
page.

3. Subscription plans
Patternata may offer different subscription plans from time to time.
Typical plans may include:
Monthly plan

A monthly subscription provides access to the included paid features for one monthly billing period
and renews monthly unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Annual plan
An annual subscription provides access to the included paid features for one annual billing period and
renews annually unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Annual plans may offer a discounted equivalent monthly price compared with monthly billing.
Lifetime access
Lifetime access, where offered, provides access to the relevant Patternata features for the lifetime of
the Patternata service or relevant product, subject to these Subscription Terms and our Terms &
Conditions.
Lifetime access does not mean access for the lifetime of the customer personally. It means access for
as long as the relevant Patternata service, product or platform feature continues to operate.

4. Billing and payment
Subscription fees are charged in advance.
By purchasing a subscription, you authorise Patternata, Creative Boutique Limited or our payment
provider to charge the applicable subscription fee using your selected payment method.
Payment may be processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store full payment card
details ourselves.
If payment fails, we may: ask you to update your payment method; attempt to process payment again;
suspend subscription access; downgrade your account to a free plan; cancel the subscription if
payment remains unsuccessful.

5. Automatic renewal
Unless stated otherwise, monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically.
This means: monthly subscriptions renew each month; annual subscriptions renew each year; the
renewal fee is charged automatically using the payment method on file; you must cancel before the
renewal date if you do not wish to renew.

You are responsible for managing your subscription and cancelling it before renewal if you no longer
wish to continue.

6. Cancelling your subscription
You may cancel your subscription through your account settings, app store account, payment provider
account, or by following the cancellation process made available by Patternata.

Where the subscription was purchased through a third-party platform, such as an app store or
payment provider, cancellation may need to be completed through that platform.

Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals. It does not automatically refund the current billing
period.

Unless stated otherwise, you may continue to access paid features until the end of the paid billing
period.

7. Refunds for subscriptions
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once the billing period has started, unless: there has
been a billing error; duplicate payment has occurred; access was not provided due to an issue on our
side; the subscription was materially misdescribed; a refund is required by law.
 

Failure to use the subscription does not create an automatic right to a refund.
Refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

8. Free trials and promotional access
Patternata may offer free trials, promotional access, discounted launch offers or limited-time
subscription offers.

Trial and promotional terms will be displayed at the point of sign-up.
Unless stated otherwise: free trials may convert to paid subscriptions at the end of the trial period; you
may need to cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged; promotional prices may apply only
for a limited period; promotional offers may be withdrawn or changed at any time before purchase;
users may be limited to one trial or promotional offer.

9. Changes to subscription prices
Patternata may change subscription prices from time to time. Price changes will not affect the current
paid billing period. Where required, we will aim to provide reasonable notice before a price change
applies to an existing subscription.

If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes
effect.

10. Changes to subscription features
Patternata may update, improve, add, remove or modify subscription features from time to time.
This may include changes to: motif libraries; export formats; design tools; storage limits; free and paid
feature boundaries; subscriber-only content; member benefits; technical functionality; app or website
features.

We will aim to avoid materially reducing core paid features during a current billing period without
reasonable cause.

However, Patternata may need to change features because of technical, commercial, legal, supplier,
platform or operational reasons.

11. Subscriber-only motifs and assets
Some motifs, digital assets, templates or design tools may be available only to subscribers.
Subscriber-only assets are licensed for use under our Commercial Use & Motif Licence Policy.
You may use finished designs lawfully created and exported during an active subscription, subject to
the applicable licence terms.

You must not: extract subscriber-only motifs as standalone files; continue accessing subscriber-only
libraries after cancellation; redistribute subscriber-only assets; share account access with others;
download, copy or store motif libraries for use outside the permitted licence; use subscriber assets to
build competing tools, asset libraries or design collections.

12. Watermark-free exports
A paid subscription may allow watermark-free exports, depending on the plan purchased.
Watermark-free exports may be used for personal or commercial finished designs, subject to our
Commercial Use & Motif Licence Policy.

Free or trial exports may include watermarks or other restrictions.

You must not remove, obscure, crop out or bypass watermarks from files unless you have the
appropriate paid access or licence.

13. Design storage and saved projects
Patternata may allow subscribers to save designs, projects, uploads, templates or export history.
Storage limits may vary by plan.

We do not guarantee indefinite storage of saved designs.
You are responsible for keeping your own copies of important artwork, exported files and order
records.

Saved designs may become unavailable if: your subscription ends; your account is closed; storage
limits are exceeded; features are discontinued; technical issues occur; files breach our policies; the
relevant service is withdrawn.

14. Cancellation and access to saved designs
If your subscription ends, your account may revert to a free plan where available.
After cancellation or expiry: access to premium features may end; access to premium motif libraries
may end; export options may be reduced; saved designs may remain visible but restricted;
watermark-free export access may end; storage limits may change; some projects may no longer be
editable using paid features.

Where possible, we recommend exporting and saving important designs before cancelling a
subscription.

15. Lifetime access terms
Where lifetime access is offered, the following terms apply unless stated otherwise: lifetime access is
linked to the Patternata service or product purchased; it is not transferable unless expressly
permitted; it does not include ownership of Patternata software, motif libraries or intellectual property;
it does not guarantee that every future feature, product, collection or service will be included; it does
not prevent Patternata from updating, changing or discontinuing features for legal, technical,
operational or commercial reasons; it may be revoked if the user breaches these Subscription Terms
or our wider Terms & Conditions.

Lifetime access may not include: future separate products; business or team features; third-party
services; printing costs; fulfilment costs; physical products; special collaborations; paid add-ons;
services outside the original lifetime access offer.

16. Business, team or educational subscriptions
Patternata may offer business, team, studio, school or educational subscriptions. Where available,
these may be subject to additional terms, including: number of authorised users; account
administration; permitted commercial use; billing arrangements; shared storage; user management;
restrictions on asset sharing; cancellation terms.

Unless a team or business plan expressly permits shared use, individual subscriptions are for one
user only.

17. Account sharing
You must not share your account login details with others. A subscription is for the named account
holder or authorised user only, unless your plan expressly allows multiple users.

Unauthorised account sharing may result in: suspension of access; termination of subscription;
refusal of future service; removal of shared access; other action under our Terms & Conditions.
 

18. App store subscriptions
If you purchase a Patternata subscription through an app store, such as Apple App Store or Google
Play, billing, cancellation and refund requests may be handled by the relevant app store.

In that case: app store terms may also apply; cancellations may need to be made through the app
store account; refunds may be subject to the app store’s policies; Patternata may not be able to
process refunds directly.

You are responsible for reviewing the terms of the app store or platform used for purchase.

19. Suspension or termination
Patternata may suspend or terminate subscription access where: payment fails; account information
is inaccurate; the account is used fraudulently; account sharing occurs; the user breaches our Terms
& Conditions; the user breaches our Commercial Use & Motif Licence Policy; the user misuses
Patternata assets; continued access creates legal, technical, security or reputational risk.

Suspension or termination for breach does not automatically entitle you to a refund.

20. Service availability
We aim to keep Patternata available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
Subscription access may be affected by: maintenance; updates; technical issues; internet disruption;
third-party service outages; app store issues; payment provider issues; security incidents; changes to
platform requirements.

Temporary interruption of access does not automatically entitle you to a refund, unless required by
law or where the interruption is significant and caused by an issue within our control.

21. Taxes and currency
Subscription prices may be shown in different currencies depending on platform, location, payment
provider or app store settings.

Prices may include or exclude taxes depending on your location and checkout settings. You are
responsible for any taxes, duties, charges or fees that apply to your purchase unless expressly stated
otherwise.

Currency conversion charges or bank fees are not controlled by Patternata.

23. Changes to these Subscription Terms
We may update these Subscription Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on
our website with a revised “last updated” date.

If changes are significant, we may notify users by email, account notice, app notice or website notice
where appropriate.

Continued use of Patternata after updated Subscription Terms are posted means you accept the
updated terms.
